المشهد الإعلامي الجديد: التقارب الإعلامي وأسطورة الديمقراطية وانقراض الصحافة

تواجه وسائل الإعلام التقليدية، على وجه التحديد الصحافة المطبوعة، مجموعة واسعة من التحديات والاضطرابات، التي كانت لها آثار مختلفة في الممارسات المهنية في صناعة الأخبار وطرق استهلاكها وتوزيعها ومشاركتها؛ مما دفع بعض المتشائمين إلى التنبؤ بسرعة انقراضها مع إعلان بعضها الإفلاس، في ظل تزايد استهلاك تكنولوجيا الرقمنة والذكاء الاصطناعي في المجال الإخباري، والادعاءات نحو دورها الذي تؤديه في إرساء الديمقراطية، وتطوير العملية الإخبارية. وتهدف هذه المقالة إلى الإسهام في تحديد ملامح المشهد الإعلامي الجديد، وتعريف أزمة الصحافة المعاصرة على أنها تحولات متنوعة معقدة في إنتاج الأخبار وممارسات الصحافة، وتوضيح كيف أثّر التقارب بين وسائل الإعلام وتكنولوجيا الرقمنة والذكاء الاصطناعي في التغطية الإخبارية وأخلاقيات العمل وهويتها المهنية، علاوةً على ذلك، تجادل المقالة بأنّ الصحافة مهنة لن تنقرض وستستمر في البقاء، إذ يمكن إعادة ابتكارها وتشكيلها من جديد في العصر الرقمي، ثم تقدم بعض المقترحات والتوصيات التي من شأنها العمل على التخفيف من آثار الأزمة في وسائل الإعلام، واستحداث نماذج أعمالها التقليدية رقميًا؛ لتطوير أداء الصحافة ووظائفها بشكل أكثر كفاءة واستدامة.
