الهدف من الدراسة: التعرف علي معدلات ودوافع بحث المرأة عن المعلومات الصحية على شبکة الإنترنت، وکيف يؤثر التماس المعلومات على الإنترنت على مستويات تعامل المرأة مع المشکلات الصحية المتعلقة بها وبالمحيطين بها
نوع ومنهج الدراسة: تندرج هذه الدراسة ضمن البحوث الوصفية وتتبنى الدراسة منهج المسح بشقيه التحليلي والتفسيري.
 أداة وعينة الدراسة:اعتمدت الباحثة في هذه الدراسة على أداة الاستبيان حيث تم التطبيق على عينة قوامها 300 مفردة بأسلوب "کرة الثلج" من النساء المستخدمات للإنترنت داخل محافظة القاهرة الکبرى.
الفترة الزمنية للدراسة: تم التطبيق خلال شهري فبراير- مارس 2011
أهم ما توصلت إليه الدراسة:
-         بالنسبة لمستويات بحث واهتمام المرأة عن المعلومات الصحية على مواقع الإنترنت فقد عبر في المرتبة الأولى بنسبة کبيرة فريق من أفراد العينة أنهم أحيانا ما يبحثون أو يهتمون بتلک المواقع وذلک بنسبة (53.7%)، فيما عبر في المرتبة الثانية فريق آخر من عينة الدراسة أنهم نادرا ما يتابعون تلک المواقع بنسبة 25.3%، بينما انخفضت نسبة السيدات اللائي يحرصن على المتابعة وذلک بنسبة (22% ).
-    جاء تأثير التماس المعلومات الصحية على الانترنت إيجابيا، حيث أن النسبة الأکبر من المبحوثات ( 57.7% ) تــُــراجع أحد الأطباء المتخصصين للتأکد من المعلومات أو النصائح الطبية، في حين تأخذ نسبة قليلة ( 22.3% ) بهذه المعلومات والنصائح بصورة مباشرة، فيما يأتي الاعتماد على المقربين لمراجعة المعلومات بنسبة20%.
-         أن النسبة الأکبر من الإناث اللائي عملن بالمعلومات والنصائح حصلن على نتائج إيجابية تمثلت في حدوث تحسن ولو طفيف في حالتهن ( 62.5 % )، في حين أشارت نسبة ( 36.4% ) منهن إلى الشعور بالشفاء الکامل، مما يعني أن مردود التبني السلوکي للمعلومات والنصائح کان إيجابياً.

The most important findings of the study:
1-As for the levels of research and interest of women on health information on the Internet sites, the first place in a large percentage of respondents said that they sometimes search or care about these sites by (53.7%), while in the second place another team of the study sample that they rarely Those who follow these sites increased by 25.3%, while the percentage of women who are keen to follow up by (22%).
2-The impact of seeking health information on the Internet was positive, as the majority of the respondents (57.7%) consulted one of the specialist doctors to confirm information or medical advice, while a small percentage (22.3%) take this information and advice directly, while relying on Close to review the information by 20%.
3-The largest percentage of females who worked with information and advice received positive results, which was a slight improvement in their condition (62.5%), while 36.4% indicated that they feel full recovery, which means that the behavioral adoption of the information and advice was Positively.
