The relation between Egyptian university youth watching health awareness films on YouTube and their level of health awareness

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the relationship between Egyptian university youth watching health awareness films on YouTube and their level of health awareness, and the study is one of the descriptive studies that used the field media survey method by applying to an intentional quota sample of (250) subjects of Egyptian university youth from my university (Zagazig - Academy Sunrise), equally between males and females, in the period from (1/12/2020) to (12/30/2020), through the questionnaire tool.
Results:
- 60% of the respondents "always" watch short health awareness films on YouTube, and the percentage of those who watch them (sometimes) is 40%.
- The level of preventive health awareness among the respondents "I was able to obtain health and medical information about disease prevention methods" in the first order, and the phrase "the importance of staying away from crowded places and taking into account social distancing" came in the second order.
- The level of personal health awareness among the respondents "that narcotic substances destroy individuals' lives and lead to death" came in the first order, and the phrase "take into account the cleanliness of nails and washing hands in the right way" came in the second order.
