Methodological methods used in the study of electronic journalism, a critical approach

Abstract

The article aims to introduce new methods that specialize in the systematic applications of analysis and study of electronic journalism, and a lot of foreign literature has been adopted in that perception and how to use it, to develop a clear vision for researchers in the field of new media who have turned a lot towards specialized research in its methods and contents The article has limited these methods to several types, namely: network analysis, ethnographic research, the perspective of the actor's network, triangulation, and content analysis, and the article indicated that these applications have not yet matured and are complex in terms of the characteristics of electronic media in general and electronic journalism in particular, It includes hypertext, interactive, multimedia, and continuous updating of content
