Abstract

The present study aims to monitor, analyze and interpret the use of infographics in social media sites to introduce the Document on Human Fraternity. The study attempts to investigate the adopted mechanism, geographical scope, highlighted topics, infographics types, objectives and forms, the most important readable and graphic elements of the infographic, the sources and volume of information, the language used, and the level of interaction of readers.
The Study applies this to the official pages of Al-Azhar, the Vatican, and the HCHF within the framework of an analytical and comparative study based on the approach of a comprehensive survey of all the infographics since the announcement of the launch of the Document on February 4, 2019, until December 31, 2020.
The study concluded that the page of the HCHF ranked first in terms of the number of infographics used to introduce the Document on Human Fraternity, followed by Al-Azhar page, and finally the Vatican page. The static infographics came at the top of the types of infographics used, followed by animated infographics, and finally the interactive infographics. The shape of most infographics focused on graphs, images, shapes, figures, chronology and comparisons.
