Abstract

This study aims to study the employment of digital technology in professional practice in regional media and the trends of those who contact it. Digital and its trends towards employing it and using its techniques in his professional practice of media work in the media institutions to which he belongs. The study also sought to answer some questions, including:
1- What digital technologies are being employed in professional practice in regional media?
2- What are the mechanisms of employing digital technology in professional practice through regional means of communication?
3- What is the benefit of professional practice in regional media from digital technologies?
The study also tested hypotheses, including:
The first hypothesis:
The employment rates of digital technology communicators in the regional media and their attitudes towards these technologies vary according to their functional and demographic characteristics.
The most prominent results were as follows:
There are statistically significant differences between those working in radio and television channels who oversee communicating according to the educational level, between average, university, and above university in their responses to the question of measures of the extent to which digital technology is employed in regional media and the trend towards it.
- There are statistically significant differences between radio and television channel workers who are communicators according to the nature of their jobs between (announcer, cameraman, director, broadcaster, sound engineer, montage, preparation, and others) in their responses to a question of the extent to which digital technology is employed in regional media and the trend towards it.
