Abstract

Scientific research is an effective tool for achieving development and advancement and an important way to catch up with scientific progress, and the distinguished research performance is a strong indicator of research growth and scientific productivity for researchers, universities, and societies. From adopting modern teaching and learning models and investing them in developing students’ research performance, improving research performance contributes to creating a research climate that allows for achieving excellence and applying quality and accreditation standards, and because the Woods model is one of the modern educational models that depend on addressing the mind and the work of mental processes for the learner and generating a spirit Research, transfer of knowledge and development of the performance and conceptual structure. The researcher considered that the model is commensurate with the nature of the scientific research process and its procedures; Therefore, I turned to studying it in the current research and exploring the effectiveness of its use in developing the research performance of graduate students, due to the low level of their research performance, which the researcher noticed by virtue of the nature of her work, in addition to the lack of modern models and methods in teaching scientific research and developing research performance. While reviewing the educational and media literacy and related studies, the researcher noticed - within the limits of her knowledge - that there are no media studies that dealt with the Woods model or verify its effectiveness in terms of research performance. Research performance of graduate students in educational media?
