Abstract

This research aimed to understand the nature of what religious programs presented on Egyptian satellite channels, which are translated into sign language during their presentation offer, the ways and methods used in them, and the extent of their impact on increasing religious awareness among the deaf and hard of hearing, by analyzing the content of some episodes of religious programs presented on Egyptian satellite channels, which are translated into sign language during their presentation. The researcher also applied a questionnaire to a random sample of (100) deaf people from different neighborhoods. One of the most important results of the research was that there is a correlation between the manner in which religious awareness is carried out in religious television programs, the same research, through specific media frameworks, and the perception of the deaf and hard of hearing, the same research, to understand the correctness of their religion, and another group of field and analytical results, and the research ended with a collection of The most important recommendations are: the necessity of seeking the assistance of specialists from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in explaining and interpreting the True religion for the deaf and hard of hearing, and being patient with them and simplifying complex matters and terminology for them so that they do not become confused and are not easily led to extremism, and other recommendations
