Abstract

This study presents the Kenyan experience in using social media platforms to achieve human fraternity and peaceful coexistence by analyzing all posts published on the official page of the State House Kenya and the Kenya Defense Forces official page from May 1, 2020, to December 10, 2020, revealing the topics that they covered, their objectives, knowledge of the shapes and descriptions used in those posts, and the general trend of follower's reactions.
To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher relied on the descriptive approach, using the content analysis tool, relying on the post as an analysis unit for the published contents and a sample consisting of (799 posts) published in the specified period of the study.
The most important results of the study indicate: The Kenyan pages have contributed to uniting the Kenyans against violence and extremism, and they were keen to consolidate positive understanding, gain the approval and support of the masses, and used their pages as a platform for religious messages (Christian and Islamic) that encourage harmony, cohesion, love, and coexistence.
