"The role of sports satellite channels and websites in promoting the sports culture of the Iraqi sports street"

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the role of sports satellite channels and websites in promoting sports culture in Iraqi sports streets. ) in the age group from (18-60) years, in the time period from (1/3/2022) to (31/3/2022).
The most important results of the study:
- The sports sites that the respondents depend on to obtain sports information came in first place, "FIFA Sport", then came in second place, "Between Sport", and came in third place, "The Iraqi Football Network".
- The sports programs that the respondents depend on to obtain sports information on the Iraqi satellite channels came in the first place, “The Voice of the Stadiums, Taha Abu Ragheef on Alsumaria TV” with a percentage of 46.50%, divided between males by 37.50% and females by 55.50%, while in the second place came “Studio fans Haider Zaki” on Dijla Satellite Channel” with a percentage of 26.50%
-The respondents’ attitudes towards the role of sports programs in Iraqi satellite channels and websites in enhancing their sports culture, as it became clear the tendency of the respondents’ responses towards (Agree) as follows: The phrase “I think that the sports media message matches my interests” came with an average of (2.45, and 2.48). ) for each of them (the sports electronic sites, and the sports programs in the Iraqi satellite channels) respectively, then came “information affects the level of my mathematical culture” with a mean of (2.43, and 2.45) for each of them, respectively.
