Abstract

The study aims to identify the information, values, and behaviors that cartoon series reflect and their impact on the Egyptian child, by conducting an analytical study on a sample of 10 hours from the Human Stories series in the Holy Qur’an, in addition to a field study on a sample of children consisting of (150 ) alone, the study reached a set of results, the most important of which are:
The high rate of exposure of the Egyptian child to religious cartoons, and the high rate of ritual gratification, is normal due to the high ritual motives, and the high rate of positive values achieved by the Egyptian child, the importance of the cartoons appeared in the extent to which the Egyptian child understood the teachings, values and beliefs of the Islamic religion accurately and made them able to talk about it High credibility of cartoons. The high rate of confidence of the Egyptian child in cartoons, along with the increase in the rate of positivity in the child’s behavior from the point of view of mothers. Rituals over Egyptian children watching religious cartoons, children prefer watching cartoons with their sisters in the afternoon and discussing their events with the family.
There is a relationship between the Egyptian child's rate of attraction to cartoons and the motives achieved from watching the Egyptian child's cartoons, a positive relationship between the motives of the Egyptian child's exposure to cartoons and the gratifications achieved by the Egyptian child watching cartoons, but it is weak, as well as between the motives of the Egyptian child watching cartoons and the realization of values and behaviors reflected in the cartoon but a weak relationship.
There is a relationship between the gratifications achieved from the Egyptian child's viewing of cartoons and the realization of the values and behaviors that the cartoon reflects.
