ضوابط حماية الحق في الخصوصية عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي- دراسة تحليلية

   استهدفت الدراسة التعرف على مدى الحماية التي توفرها مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي للحق في الخصوصية، بالتطبيق على موقعي فيسبوک وانستجرام، وذلک عبر التحليل الکيفي لمضمون سياسة الخصوصية على الموقعين عينة الدراسة. وقد کشفت نتائج الدراسة عن تشابه سياسة الخصوصية للموقعين إلى حد کبير؛ فقد التزمت إدارة موقعي فيسبوک وانستجرام بإعلام المستخدمين بأنواع المعلومات التي تجمعها عنهم، وأوجه استخدام تلک المعلومات، وکيفية مشارکتها مع الآخرين، فضلًا عن حق المستخدمين في التحکم بالمعلومات التي تُجمع عنهم.
   وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى حقيقة مؤداها أن مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي تملکها شرکات تجارية خاصة، تقدم کثيرًا من الخدمات المجانية، وتجني أرباحها من جمع بيانات الأفراد، ثم تداولها وبيعها إلى طرف ثالث لأغراض مختلفة. وتبرر الشرکات المالکة للمواقع تلک العملية بکونها تسهم في بقاء استخدام المواقع مجانًا، وکأن المستخدم يدفع ببياناته الشخصية مقابل الخدمة التي يحصل عليها، وهو ما ينتهک حقًا أصيلًا للأفراد، فقد کشفت النتائج عن کون إعدادات الخصوصية التي توفرها تلک المواقع لا تحمي المستخدم إلا من بقية الأعضاء في الموقع، ولا تمنع بياناته عن مالکي الخدمة.
  الأمر الذي يدعونا هنا لتأکيد انعدام الخصوصية المعلوماتية على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، وعلى أن العبء يقع على المستخدم في حماية خصوصية معلوماته؛ إذ يتوقف الضرر الذي يمکن وقوعه على الأفراد على مقدار مشارکتهم في تلک المواقع، والمعلومات التي يتقاسمونها مع الآخرين.
