Frameworks of press coverage of the issue of climate change in Egyptian press sites - an analytical study

Abstract

  The study aimed: to identify the extent of the interest of the three Egyptian press websites, the study sample (Al-Youm Al-Sabaa - Al-Masry Al-Youm- Al-Shorouk), in covering the issue of climate change, during the period from 1/11/2021 to 30/1/2022. This study belongs to the quality of studies Analytical descriptive, and the study used the theory of media frameworks, and relied on the media survey method for the materials published on the websites (Al-Youm Al-Sabea, Al-Masry Al-Youm, Al-Shorouk), and it also relied on the evaluating method, using the content analysis tool. The results of the study showed:
- The press report ranked first among the journalistic forms mentioned in the press sites - the study sample - in its coverage of the issue of climate change, with a rate of (53.49%) on the seventh day, (16.60%) on Al-Masry Al-Youm, (46.60%).
