The impact of modern media technologies on the quality of university education during crises from the perspective of Palestinian students

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the extent of the use of modern media technologies in educational processes in Palestinian universities because of the transformations and impacts due to the repercussions of the crises that the State of Palestine is going through. One of the study's objectives is to identify the effect of modern media technologies (virtual classes and satellite channels). Educational Jerusalem, and determining the degree of utilization and its impact on academic quality represented by (academic achievement, teaching methods, and achieving desired goals) during crises from the point of view of Palestinian students, so this study relied in its design on the descriptive survey approach, The use of a questionnaire applied to a random sample of (7845) male and female students using the quantitative method, and the use of the statistical analysis program (SPSS), and the most important results are the existence of a direct correlation between the impact of the use of modern media technologies and the quality of university education, and that academic quality can be measured through academic achievement One of the most important recommendations for the study is the adoption of e-learning as a supportive education for face-to-face education in Palestinian universities, and to support it systematically.
