Media Research Journal: a Peer-reviewed journal issued by Al-Azhar University, Faculty of Mass Communication. It is considered one of the first magazines specialized in the field of media over at the level of Egyptian and Arab universities. The first issue of it was published in October 1993 AD. Scientific Research and Technology in Cairo, which is ranked first among the scientific periodicals in the Media Studies Sector by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities in 2020 AD, and it is classified within the International Publishing Rules (Clarified).
