Reliance of Expatriate Students in Egypt on News Websites and its Relation to Forming their Health Awareness towards the Coronavirus (Covid 19) Crisis: A Field Study

Abstract

The study aimed to analyze and explain the reliance of expatriate students in
Egypt on websites towards media follow-up of the emerging corona virus pandemic and its evaluation of decisions to combat the emerging corona virus, as
this study belongs to descriptive research, and the researcher employed the
method of media survey by sample, using the electronic questionnaire to collect
data from The study sample of 400 individuals was selected using a grid snowball
sample.
The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: Alyawm Elsabea website was one of the most important news sites that the study
sample is keen to follow on Facebook, and the study found that 90% of the research sample followed the COVID-19 pandemic through websites, and one of
the main motives for adopting foreign-expatriate students A sample came on top < br />of the decisions and measures, “Knowing the necessary prevention measures.”
Study on websites that the state has taken to limit the fight against the virus
(COVID-19) in the sites suspending learning process in schools and universities.
