Educational Media Students' Attitudes Towards the Effectiveness of Academic Platforms in the Educational Process

Abstract

With the rapid technological advancements and the widespread adoption of digital education, academic platforms have become a fundamental part of the modern educational environment in higher education institutions. They aim to enhance educational effectiveness, improve the quality of education, and develop students' abilities and skills. The problem addressed in this study is the observation, analysis, and interpretation of Educational Media students' attitudes toward the role of academic platforms in achieving educational effectiveness. The study falls under the scope of descriptive research, employing a field survey method, and was conducted on an intentional sample of 400 participants. This sample consisted of 200 students from Sohag University who use the ZAD platform, and 200 students from Mansoura University who use the My MANS platform. An electronic questionnaire was used as the primary data collection tool, and the study adopted the Media Richness Theory as its theoretical framework. The hypothesis posited a correlational relationship between the level of academic platform usage and the degree of educational effectiveness. The study reached several key findings, including that the participants were generally satisfied with the design of academic platforms, and that Educational Media students have positive attitudes towards the role of academic platforms in achieving educational effectiveness.
