The effectiveness of educational media students' use of "robot broadcaster" technology in developing their digital editing skills.

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the Educational Media Department students' use of the "Robot Broadcaster" technology in developing their digital editing skills. It also aimed to examine the program's effectiveness in developing digital editing skills using the "Robot Broadcaster" technology among educational media students. The current study used a quasi-experimental approach to measure the effect of the independent variable, a proposed program for employing the "Robot Broadcaster" technology, on the dependent variable, the development of digital editing skills. It relied on a single-group experimental design to measure the effect of the dependent variable on the independent variable. The study was administered to a sample of 50 fourth-year students in the Educational Media Department at the Faculty of Specific Education, Mansoura University. The sample consisted of (10) male students and (40) female students. The study was administered pre- and post-tests to each group. The study reached several results:
- There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the students in the study sample in the pre- and post-tests of the skill performance scale for editing using artificial intelligence using the "Robot Broadcaster" technology, in favor of the post-test. There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the study sample students in the pre- and post-tests of the skill performance observation card for montage using artificial intelligence (AI) using the robot broadcaster technique, in favor of the post-test.
