Job involvement of the educational media specialist and its impact on achieving achievement motivation among students in the school media activities group

Abstract

     The current research aimed to identify the reality of job involvement for educational media specialists and its impact on achieving achievement motivation among students in the school media activities group. The descriptive approach was used with tools represented in (the measure of motivation to complete school media activities) and (Ritchie’s) job involvement scale. It was applied to A sample of educational media specialists in Aswan Governorate numbered (20) specialists, as well as (300) secondary school students in Aswan Governorate in five centers, namely: (Aswan City - Kom Ombo, Draw, Edfu, Nasr Al Nubia). The results of the study reached the following conclusions: There is a statistically significant relationship between the job involvement of the educational media specialist and achievement motivation among the students in the school media activities group. There are no statistically significant differences between the educational media specialists in the research sample in their rate of job engagement depending on the gender variable. There are statistically significant differences between the educational media specialists in the sample. Research into their rate of job involvement according to the variable (years of experience) in favor of those with the highest years of experience (more than 20 years). There are statistically significant differences between the students of the school media activities group, the sample of research into their rate of achievement motivation according to the variables (gender) in favor of males at the expense of females, there were statistically significant differences between the students of the school media activities group, the research sample, in their rate of achievement motivation according to the variable (place of residence), in favor of rural students at the expense of urban students.
